last night could have been the coldest night of my 18 year life. i was freezing my butt off, especially since i was wearing tights instead of pants. but me and jen decided to go to 21 choices anyway at 11:30. White chocolate peppermint ice cream was worth it :)
besides that, i basically spent the whole day yesterday shopping for my secret santas and helping out at arcadia bp. there was some incident that a guy stole 6 bags worth of stuff from JCpenney yesterday night with a handgun at the mall. and then daishin told me and jen that earlier that day a 70 yr old asian woman was getting arrested outside of macy's for stealing a backpack and tote bag. it makes me really sad that people (especially now) arent even stealing for themselves. theyre stealing so they can give presents and what not. not too long ago i read an article about how a guy killed his family and then himself because he just could not support them anymore and he was ashamed. i cant imagine how hard that must be. when youre out of options and you cant even support yourself anymore. it was announced that we were officially in recession. hopefully according to the curve, we have nowhere to go but up. i hope.
