babies!

whew, lots of things have happened-or so it seems.

ok so on saturday, my family helped me move out of the fullerton apt :( it took a while but we got it done. i didnt realize how much junk i really owned til i got to packing and throwing away stuff. we finished around 5 and headed over to my aunts house to eat dinner and to watch the laker game. i was smashed in between my two cousins while my whole family was crammed on the couches, yelling and cheering.

on sunday my family decided to have a bbq. i ate just about everything. steaks, corn, baked mussels, cake, ice cream...the list goes on. my cousins along with nicole came over and we just hung out and watched the cavalier and magic game. after my cousins left, nicole and i contemplated on going to LA since our friend was DJing at a club, but it was already 11 so we figured it was too late. we decided to go to anthony's instead to play some pong with a couple of friends.

on monday, krystle and i went over to chris bautista's house for a laker game bbq. we had korean bbq, chicken and ryan made some smoothies :) watched til half time and had to head home. later on jc called me and we decided to go to bliss for some hookah with chris, keita and stephen. we stayed at bliss playing cards and smoking until 12:30. then we headed to keita's to watch some movie i forgot the name of but it was along the lines of "The Day the Earth Decided It Has Had Enough of the Human Race So They Hired the Aliens to Mass Destroy Us"

early this morning, as im sleeping that crazy movie off, my dad runs into my room and yells "Leila gave birth to puppies!" i jump out of bed, sex hair and all, and run out to the garage. leila gave birth to 8 little black and gray puppies :)

i slept at 5am this morning. for some odd reason i wasn't sleepy at all. must have been that iced mocha i was hyped up on all day. anyway, i just got done with my last final and i think i did pretty well.

mm its currently 2:09am and im still awake. ive been studying all day, i decided to take a break and go for a horchata run with justin. then i came back and started studying again. i stopped at about 1:30am. i wish i was exhausted but im actually not sleepy at all. i need to be sleepy so i could wake up early for my final tomorrow. the longer i lay in bed, the more i feel guilty for not studying more. but i dont think my brain is taking anything in anyway so its pointless.

final final

is tomorrow at 9. i started studying when i woke up this morning. bev and nicole fabela stopped by to study with me for a bit. bev left early but nicole stook around to go to panera with me and starbucks, only to end up back at the apt studying some more, with a few rockband breaks in between. we finished the study guide and nicole just headed home. i decided my brain needed yet another break so here i am listening to the usual-the format. why? because they make me happy thats why. the one down to this? it makes me long for summer even more. just one more final and im done.

the more i study, the more im convinced that i dont need to pull an all nighter tonight. ive never pulled an all nighter for school before, and since this final's a tough one, i thought itd be needed, but maybe not. we'll see.

man up?

gahhh i cant take it. finals are quickly approaching and im just not sure theres enough time for me to prepare for them. my only finals are on friday, but they are back to back. both require quite a bit of studying. and here i am, whining about it on my blog instead of progressing in my studies. i just got off work and i really wanted some food but i decided i needed to study instead. so im sitting here going over thousands of geology questions, when in reality, its all blowing over because i have a crazy craving for some bbq ribs.

one more week of this madness and self starvation before summer begins.

baggage

ive got some killer bags under my eyes. haha i think its starting to become part of how i look. i might just look weird without bags. like a part of me is missing. anyway, today i woke up and went with my family to move some of the stuff out of the apt. all thats left of mine to move out is the couch and my mattress. it actually didnt take much time at all. but i did end up being late for justin's surprise party. jen and i had to jump his wall to get in since we werent sure if he was there yet or not. anyway, it was fun. we swam, ate and played rockband. then swam and ate again hah. i got out of the jacuzzi and stupid gabe decided to pick me up and throw me in the freezing pool at 10:30 pm.

sleep deprived

my geology test wasnt that bad! going in with an "I really dont give a shit anymore" mentality really does get you better grades...

so yesterday i studied for a good bit after i got out of class. i also took my first nap in what seems to have been a couple of months. maybe 4? after i woke up jen and i got ready to go huntington beach for MK5's bonfire. it was freezing!!! the water was warmer than the beach itself. but besides that we ate smores and left within the hour since we got there at 9 and they close the bonfires at 10. we headed to khristine and kassie's (god i probably mispelled all parts of their names). we played beer pong and...yeah we played beer pong haha. stayed there until 4:30am and came back to the apt and slept at 5am. got up at 8am to take my geology test. didnt give a shit and possibly passed it. woo!

oh, and i came home to a scary image of our kitchen area. turns out we've been running a bar without knowing it.

never get enough

hm so yesterday i came back from class and decided to condense my 16 page paper for english into a 7 pager. it took me about an hour and a half to do so, but i got the job done. after i finished, i felt extremely accomplished so i decided to go to the beach! justin, jen and i went over to newport beach where me and jen read and justin played guitar. to my dismay, it was extremely cold and i was wearing shorts. we stayed there for a good hour before we decided to leave. we got in the car and headed over to the cheesecake factory for dinner. we had i think a 2 hour conversation on each of our little mannerisms that we've noticed about each other. apparently, i hold my sandwiches quite properly, with my pinkies high up. i also look like im about to fall off the bed every time i sleep. i dont favor the middle of my bed so i take full advantage of my wall to avoid from falling. after dinner kat, karley and daniel came over to hang out. we stayed up til 4 (i took about 3 naps in between) before fully knocking out.

i woke up late this morning, missing my polisci and geology class...i need to get it together! its the last week before finals! anyway i decided to be productive so i researched and finished my two final speech outlines. again, i feel quite accomplished. i want to go swimming. i want to go back to the beach again. i need rewards!!

finals week is coming up and i still gotta pack my stuff to move out. crap.

2 more weeks until the semester is over and summer begins! too bad the 2 weeks are filled with finals and nasty stuff. still excited nonetheless.

so this past weekend i worked at arcadia bp cause we opened a new store at the santa anita promenade, so they needed a little extra help. all alumni jumped to it of course. anyway, it was fun working at bp again, i miss it. but in a week ill probably start whining and crying, so we'll see.

anyway on saturday i worked at the promenade til 10, then headed over to my uncle's house for the mother's day party. sunday, me and my siblings woke up and made breakfast in bed for my parents. we then went to santa monica to walk 3rd street and the pier. my dad finally got his funnel cake that he was dying for for the past 3 weeks. so i think he was satisfied. after we came back from santa monica i went over to nicoles and ate a mothers day dinner over there, then we went to go hang out with emily, chesca and savannah. we eneded up going to wokcano in pasadena to meet up with sandy and some others. lets just say a very sleepy and red tiffany drove back to fullerton at 1 am last night. -_- im surprised i went to class this morning. but hey! i got an A on that polisci paper that took me a week to write! woo!!

pumpkin returns

decided to leave my geology class since there was no point. i have service learning to go to at 1 but before then im going to dig into my left over pad see ew and start packing. i need to start packing up my stuff at the apt and slowly start moving out since our lease is due on the 23 and thats right after finals. i probably wont have time to pack and move out right after finals so i plan on slowly moving out within the next two weeks. ill probably just pack all my books and shoes today. not much could fit into my rabbit. i have work at bp today at 5 til close! woo!

gahh so much stuff. too much stuff to pack and so little time...and car space.

cinco de mayo!

i got off work at 10 and found joyce and her friends celebrating at the bottom of the apt steps. so i hung out with them for a little bit before i headed up to the apt. when i got back to the apt i found amber, eric, prisma, nathan, stephen and jc, jen and justin drinking margaritas! so i made stephen make me two, and i was set. later on chris and keita came too. to sum it up? albertos, texas hold'em, rockband, hookah, and a beautiful medley of backstreet boys, n'sync, and BBmak towards the end. slept around 3:30, woke up at 8:30 for class. ive never felt better :)

i feel like im home.

mmm its starting to feel like firs semester again. for one, cheersworth has returned. hes back at work too. all but one of our forks have gone missing, and im sure theyre somewhere hidden in cheersworth's lair. annoying that we all have to fight for that fork now, but comforting to have our crazy apt gnome back.

what else is back? well i baked some funfetti cookies today, for what? to procrastinate from practicing my speech and my unv. essay. yes.. just when were about to start moving out too.

whens the semester over??

so i havent been able to blog because for some reason, at the arcadia house, i cannot access facebook, blogspot, and my email. the only thing it lets me go on is google search.

anyway, since the last update...hm why dont i remember. it doesnt help that ever since sophmore year, ive been dependent on my short term memory. oh! ok i remember now.

Friday
started off sleezy. i was extremely lazy and decided to not go to geology or service learning. instead, i went to kim's birthday dinner at Chomp. the last time i had Chomp, i was extremely disappointed. actually, i remember describing my meal as a flame thrower that caused my mouth to become a burning inferno. however, this time around i actually got some rolls. beside the fact that it was americanized sushi and it was beyond pricey- it wasnt that bad. but seriously, who charges for edamame?! anyway, after dinner me and jen head back to pasadena for chris' party at his house. we stayed for about an hour, then left because we were both grumpy and tired.

Saturday
i hung out with my mom for a little bit, and she went with me to get my weekly allergy shots. after we got my shots, we went to the market and then headed back home. i stayed home and did some homework-until justin dropped krystle off at my house and we decided to go to zephyrs. we hung out there for a while, i got a large white hot chocolate :) at about 12 they started to close so we called jed and decided to meet up with him at garden cafe cause he was hungry. we got to garden and just hung out and ate. i miss hanging out with jed and the rest of the people from first semester...this semester kind of sucks big ones.

Sunday
woke up and went to the pet store, where i bumped into andrew! apparently hes been working there for a year and ive never seen him. anyway, i forgot to mention that my mom brought home a stray dog this weekend that we all decided to keep. shes a mutt, kind of tan colored, medium sized, and surprisingly really really nice. we named her leila. anyway we went to go get her a collar and thats where i bumped into andrew. after going to the pet store i got ready to go to the 7 o'clock screening at the DGA for the film festival. ok this sucks cause even im getting tired of typing, so i could only imagine how torturous this is to be reading it. im just gonna stop and go to sleep. its exactly 1am.
