yes, #2.

yes, this is my second post of the day.
tomorrow is going to be crazy. 31 cent scoop is going to be...insane to say the very least? anyway, i hurt my back again at work today for dollar scoop tuesday. :( i swear im aging much faster than i should be. i blame it on the special k. my lower back somehow got hurt and i couldnt walk because i couldnt move my right leg without it hitting a nerve. the result? me mopping in a very spastic, jerking motion. anyway, i walked back to the apt and found the usual- justin, jen and krystle- then the surprise- david!

oh one more thing. krystle decided to give everyone a scare, including myself, by posting on facebook that i had the swine flu. me and gia decided to jump her.

100th post!

i spent the day shopping yesterday with jen at brea mall. i think ive discovered the tricks of the trade if you're a shopaholic. wear heels. seriously, 45 minutes in, my feet permanently molded to the shape of my shoes. im sure my feet hated me. i kind of hated me. it eventually got to the point where i didnt want to shop anymore because i didnt want to walk over to the stores. when i did walk and cry my way over to stores, id shop with my eyes. i stayed off in one area and looked with my eyes, only items i would die to have would cause me to walk over there and grab it. i also purposely kept trying things on in the dressing rooms so i could sit down and kick off the suckers. yes, the awesome joys of having flat feet.

after we got back from the mall jen and i made some soup. it turned out pretty well actually. we havent cooked in awhile at the apt cause of our conflicting schedules. so we made a soup we called "jen and tiff's awesome chicken noodle soup with spinach, onions, pasta and chicken (but it has to have chicken cause its called chicken noodle soup, so maybe its just 'jen and tiff's awesome chicken noodle spinach onion soup'). so after the soup was done, we all sat down and ate a bowl while we watched the new episode of House. after that anthony called and said he was in la habra and wanted to stop by. so anthony and his mom stopped by and hung out until 10:30. after they left, i turned on the tv and caught the last 20 mins or so of matrix:reloaded. then i watched the first 10 minutes of v for vendetta before knocking out.

quick!

just a quick post before i head over to krystles-

so yesterday was the lovely april gidden's birthday! to celebrate, we had a kickback for her at the fullerton apt. we drank some strawberry juice, smoked hookah, and played rockband, along with an incomplete game of kings cup. i woke up the next morning at 4:30 am to a symphony of harmonious snores and talking. i somehow maneuvered my way over the bodies that were unconscious on the ground and made my way out to the living room- only to find jo, jc, jen and david still up talking. so i join in and im pretty sure we spent a good 3 hours talking about foods we were craving at the moment. then about 15 minutes quoting lines from nacho libre. i finally fell back asleep and woke up around 11:30. i got showered and cleaned up a bit with stephen. then we headed to albertos to grab a carne asada burrito.

currently i just finished the remaining snippets of my polisci paper, and am about to go pick up krystle so we could head to jed's house. geez we havent seen jed in so long :(

surprises

so i was sitting here, being completely swallowed by my polisci paper that im working on. cause you know, im pretty studious. anyway, im sitting here planning out the rest of my paper when all of a sudden someone IMs me saying "long time no talk!" confused and a bit ashamed, i ask who it might be. turns out it was a friend of mine from middle school! the lovely garrett bishop. i have not talked to him since i moved away from west covina after 8th grade. i love it when people still remember you and make an effort to talk to you.

speaking of, ivy wang IMed me not too long ago too. it was a pretty nice surprise. i havent talked to her in forever it seems. its nice to get contact from the world outside of your bubble sometimes.

zephyrs

wow, the progression of my polisci paper is something i am truly proud of. i fail. im currently at zephyrs trying to finish my two pages that ive promised to myself by the end of the night. an impossible 2 out of 5. anyway to further my shame i completely missed a free concert at school today. instead of seeing the amazing matt costa play for an hour, i went to my professor's office hours and went to the library with tanya to do some research. damnit.

ok i think im gonna stop at one page for tonight, the group is waiting on me for hookah.

500 degrees

ok, so its not exactly 500 degrees today, but it is currently 98 flaming degrees in fullerton. im pretty sure i have sunburn on my face. great, it'll look like im drunk all the time now! i did some service learning today and we played parachute. i wish i had my camera already cause it would have been awesome to take pictures of this. the kids were so excited. so we were playing and i saw a little kid rolling in the dirt, i go over there to see what he's doing. turns out he fell, hit his head on the cone and his nose was now bleeding. :\

im sticky everywhere. tan but sticky. very very sticky.

beach!

today i went to laguna beach with the family. so much for doing homework huh? hah its ok, i wanted to go to the beach. anyway, first we headed out to santa ana to eat at pho bolsa, then we went to laguna beach to walk around with dory and eat. we got some gelato and looked at art. it was pretty hot outside today so hopefully i got a nice tan?

yesterday i hung out with the family for a little bit before hanging out with justin jc stephen and daniel. we first went to little tokyo to eat ramen at daikokuya then we dropped daniel off in LA. after that we headed off to chinatown, only to find a very dead and closing chinatown. stephen and i quickly grabbed a cup of sugarcane juice on our way out, so the trip wasnt totally worthless. after leaving chinatown, i got dropped off at home to eat dinner with the family. when i was done eating dinner, jc and stephen picked me up and we went to meet up with justin at zephyrs. we sat there, drinking hot drinks and smoking hookah. we left the bar around 12 and decided that we wanted to go on an adventure. so jc drives all the way up lake and we end up with an amazing view of the stars and a sea of city lights.

drill posts, they suck. i know.

oldies

look what i found!

i also retraced feraco's words. i miss him.

"I trust you to remember the most important message – that the time is always ripe to do the right thing – and to summon the courage to choose what’s right over what’s convenient.

I trust you to love others and yourself without fear of rejection, and to build a life you’ll love instead of a life you’ll accept.

I trust you to sympathize with people despite differences that threaten to separate the two of you. Remember compassion – it’s what makes us human.

I trust you to relentlessly pursue self-awareness and understanding, and to never be satisfied and comfortable with ignorance.

I trust you to remain gentle and kind in your dealings with others.

I trust you to be thankful for your fortune and privileged place in history.

I trust you to heal the wounds of the past and carve the path to a better future, to give your children a better world than your parents gave you.

I trust you to remain curious and in love with life.

I trust you to be part of a generation worth following, a generation worth hope and excitement, a generation worth fighting for, a generation worth writing about – a generation of leaders appearing when we need them most.

I trust you to live a life that will justify the applause and tears I’ll give you on the 13th, that will justify the bittersweet sting of joy laced with loss.

I trust you to make me proud."

OH NO.

oh jesus. so stephen came by today after i got out of class, he brought banh mi. thus marking my first day of training. apparently stephen's training me to eat spicy foods. i dont think i could make it. i cant even eat hot cheetos! i fail. so we eat, i cry a little because my mouth has transformed into a burning inferno due to banh mi jalapenos. we then decide to go to the sweet factory cause i have a crazy craving for candy. the result? $13+ worth of candy. im a winner.

other news?
i think Ba Le closed down... :(

resurrection

...i think i got my mojo back? i havent been blogging because ive been in a weird mood lately. i havent been feeling like myself at all. maybe it's cause ive been stressed and sleepy. its ok! cause im on my way back to recovery.

so what have i been doing for the past 5 days? well i havent blogged in 5 days so the only reason must be that im dead right? yeah, that crazy feminist killer never came, so no luck in that department. but currently im sitting, writing the synopsis for Chinese Antique, and eating rice pudding. i got my speech done today and my in class essay for english is partially finished, i do have thursday to finish up my 7th page, so im fine. i also got my geology exam done with. so i have some time to just relax for a little bit until i have to start researching for my policy paper in polisci.

i think its impossible for me to blog one post without mentioning anything about school. thats pathetic isnt it? well, at least i got my mojo back.

feminist killah

gonna leave to class soon. today will be hectic :( i have to finish some hw and study for my geology test after i get out of class at 2:15 then i work 5- close, then hopefully i could study after if im not completely dead? ahh im stressed. wheres summer already?

anyway, last night jc came over and cooked dinner for me justin and krystle. we then procrastinated for a couple of hours, and made a pointless trip to a closed sonic.

so in the middle of trying to do hw and study with krystle last night, we couldnt take it anymore. i think we literally went crazy. first we planned on shooting each other, so it wasnt considered suicide. but then we thought about it and what if one person shot before the other? then someone would have to kill themselves-which was what we were trying to avoid in the first place- plus if one person was more selfish than the other, they would wait til the other person shot, just so they wouldnt have to kill the other person. but if we were both selfish (which is most likely the case) we both wouldnt shoot at all, and it would be pointless. so then we decided to start criticizing women's rights and the whole equal protection clause, in all hopes for a crazy psycho feminist to come running into the apt with a machine gun to take our worthless, good for nothing, waste of a female body selves out.

crazy right?

hidden messages

so my HCOM class gets canceled today, all when i was prepared to give my speech too. anyway, nicole and i decided to go to albertos instead :)

we get back to my apt, i sit down with my carne asada burrito and i turn on the tv. we start watching true life: i want a perfect body. midway, justin and krystle come back to the apt with food. so were all sitting around the tv with bags and bags of food, watching a show about people who constantly binge and starve themselves. as the show ends, i click to see whats going on next with the remote in one hand and my burrito in the other. guess whats on next? "Fat Camp" thats right. i think god's trying to tell me something.

good stuff

came back late last night, around 4. watched bolt at JC's house with jen and johnathan. anyway, i woke up this morning realizing how quickly my spring break passed. its already friday! where has it gone? what have i done?! mm well heres a recap of what i did last night...

went to emily sam's to do some hw (kinda) i really just ate cookies that her brother made and talked. we waited for her mom to come home before heading to BP to visit daishin. stayed there a good hour before heading to pasadena to chesca and savannah's place. we hung out there and played some rockband for shots. lowest score had to take a shot. after a little buzz we went to old town to get pinkberry, only to find that it closed at 11. so we walked around, chesca danced around. we got back to their apt and emily and i decided to leave. so we went back to her place and i made myself a pb&j sandwich and talked to sandy sam for a bit. JC, jen and johnathan then picked me up to go watch bolt.

today im going to the 168 film festival for our short. im probably gonna head out around 7 or so. i think were all carpooling. mm im bruising up nicely from my tattoo. only on the bottom though. doesnt hurt too bad

arcadia ink

a very eventful day. i woke up and started packing to go back to arcadia. on my way back i picked up emily and we went to panera to visit chesca, only to find out she left 15 mins before we came. anyway i ate my cinnamon crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese while emily gobbled down her broccoli cheddar soup. we then went to meet up with nicole at Inflictions. we both got our tattoos done in a matter of 45 mins. by a pretty cool guy named Paul. after we got it done, we drove up to chantry flats to take pictures and explore. we spent a good hour there before heading down to meet up with savannah and chesca at president thai to eat dinner. after that me and emily dropped off nicole and headed to franks house to drop off laurens wallet. we ended up staying there a good 3 hours talking with everyone that was there. then we left cause it was cold, i had hw and emily had to go to bar twist.
