so i turn off alarms in my sleep, without knowing it. thus, I was 30 mins late to work this morning...anyway it was a slow day at work but having people visit me constantly helps me from dying. i did read a considerable amount of my book though so thats good. anyway after i got off at 3:30, jen and i went to old town to eat what else? 21 choices.

just came home from the midnight premiere of the 6th harry potter movie. yes i enjoyed it, and yes i did cry. would have been better if we werent sitting around flamboyant people who laughed and made fun of the preview for where the wild things are. what the hell. who doesnt want to see where the wild things are? unless they didnt read the book. then they should just get out. now.

packages

so my camera came in yesterday in the mail but i wasnt able to get it since i had to leave to fullerton for work. so its just sitting at home...lonely, untouched. :( anyway i met up with kristi and trev today at hole mole and had us some $1 fish tacos. nomnomnom. then they headed off and ive been sitting here in front of panera freeloading off of their wifi because i need to wait til 5 when i walk across the street for work.

fridays

tomorrow is finally my day off..so? the beach! jen, april, lauren and i have decided that we needed a trip to the beach. so tomorrow, right after i wake up to eat an extremely early lunch with chris, were heading to santa monica.

its weird, i've been having a crazy amount of nightmares lately. another thing is that i find myself waking up actually remembering my dreams. i know that every person has at least a dozen different dreams a night. but i dont think its normal, especially for me, to be remembering most of them. theyre all pretty distinct so i guess its not so abnormal. but coming from the person that forgets to text people back and sometimes what month it is, it's pretty abnormal.

paychecks and hobos

i got my paycheck yesterday, so what does that mean? it means i get my camera within the next week! damn camera that ive been saving up for for about a year has finally come within reach.

yesterday was jen's birthday so she had the day off while i worked alone at bp. right before closing anthony and his rolling soldiers stopped by and pulled some "safeties" in the store right before some customers came in and took a big whiff of it, before panicking and thanking me that the shop was closed. after i got off i went home to change and play with the puppies for a little while,until jen called me and asked what was going on tonight. we ended meeting up with keita and anthony back at bp with no idea of what to do. arcadia isnt so exciting past...9pm? so since there was nothing to do, we decided to go on an adventure. anthony drove up fair oaks right above art center and we took a uphill hike that led to a pretty crazy spot with a view to match. we stayed there for about an hour, mostly hiding from cop cars that kept driving by. we slid back down the hill and decided our next location was the enchanted forest. so on our way over, we saw a bunch of other kids just coming out of it. as we parked they came over and started talking to us. we eventually decided against going into the forest because unlike them, we didnt come prepared with flashlights and crow bars to beat the living shit out of any creepers. so we talked the kids into coming with us to go to zorthian. sounds like a planet? yeah. its this creepy hidden community that is led up to by a little dirt road with a steep cliff on the other side. on the way up we had to drive onto a broken down bridge, past a beat up house and through many abandoned ranches that were completely rusted. there were a few abandoned broken down cars on the way, but we decided to stop before we got any further. pussys on a mission. apparently if you go further up theres a 10ft cross and nooses hanging with dummies in them from houses.
